Bio Snapshot

Education

  • M.S. – Computer Science, 2004, University of Michigan
  • M.S. – Mathematics, 2003, Michigan State University
  • B.S. – Computer Science, 2003, Lyman Briggs School, Michigan State University

Notable highlights include: I was a Department of Homeland Security graduate fellow at U-M as part of the inaugural class, which included a stint working on parallel programming models at Sandia National Labs as a summer intern.  I was an Alumni Distinguished Scholar at MSU, which certainly helped finance things.

I spent four years at the University of Michigan, achieving candidacy for the PhD in Computer Science and completing all requirements except for completion of my dissertation and defense.  I was actively working on that through 2007.

I attended the Michigan State University Broad School of Management for the MBA in 2005; I completed 16 credits toward the MBA and then left the program to focus on Orbro and the PhD.
